Most of the projects I was involved in included multiple teams that required full synchronization and alignment, making sure everyone is on the same page, convinced and inspired by what we are building. This requires innovative thinking, eliminating egos, some giving in, and emotional and cognitive stretching, but mainly it requires me to think about the other side and make sure I speak so they listen!
But, when this did not happen, projects failed!!
These challenges that I faced in every one of my projects, drove me to think of a new approach and see how we can leverage ground-breaking technology that can bridge gaps between business-product-development-testing teams.
So, in a nutshell, I will talk about how to make requirements much more detailed and accurate and ensure all teams are aligned and on the same page before you start building.
In other words, we "Shift Left" to the requirements phase.
